The Hearing Aid Coverage for Children Program (HACCP) offers hearing aid coverage to eligible children and youth, ages 0-20, including supplemental coverage for applicants whose o​ther health coverage has a coverage limit of $1,500 or less for hearing aids.​​

The Hearing Aid Coverage for Children Program (HACCP) is pleased to announce that Kaiser Permanente Hearing Centers in Northern California (KPNC) have joined our efforts to provide essential hearing aid coverage for children in need. KPNC hearing center services are available only to currently enrolled Kaiser Permanente members. Below are the 23 locations of the KPNC hearing centers throughout Northern California: OurCenters - Kaiser Permanente Hearing Centers in Northern California​. ​​​

NEW: ​Upcoming Live Training Webinars for Hearing Aid Coverage for Children Program​

Medi-Cal's Outreach and Education (O&E) department and the Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) are offering live training webinars pertaining to the Hearing Aid Coverage for Children Program (HACCP).

The webinars will be presented on the following dates:

  • Tuesday, October 28, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
  • Thursday, October 29, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Providers must register for the webinar through the Hearing Aid Coverage for Children's Program (HACCP) Live Webinar web page of the Medi-Cal Learning Portal (MLP) and select the session they plan to attend to ensure enrollment. The links above will take providers directly to the MLP enrollment page for each webinar.​

Note:  To view the webinar, providers must have internet access and a user profile in the MLP. Google Chrome is the recommended web browser for accessing the MLP. Detailed instructions about the registration process and accessing webinar classes are available on the Outreach & Education page of the Medi-Cal Providers website.

NEW: Updated Policy Guidance for Providers The HACCP Annual Eligibility Review (AER) Application is a new, more convenient form for HACCP members to complete their AER and renew their HACCP coverage. Visit Apply for Coverage to learn more.

​Additional languages are now available to apply online for coverage! HACCP's Online Application Portal now supports Laotian, Japanese, and Hindi, in addition to English, Spanish, Chinese, Korean, Vietnamese, Russian, Hmong,  Armenian, Arabic, Tagalog, Ukrainian, Farsi, and Cambodian.​
